No time to post any pithy descriptions, but here's a bunch of cool new (or semi-new) tracks that are lighting up my iPod this week.

- Ok, here's a brief pithy description - I am absolutely loving the new Thurston Moore solo effort that I was expecting very little of. I think it's a little better than the last Sonic Youth album and therefore the first thing that the Youth frontman has put out since the glory days of early Youth circa 1988 to 1994. Go buy the album here. I bought it for $9.99 at Vintage Vinyl, so you might find it cheap at your local independent record store. This track here is an all-instrumental, guitar based Moore goodness.
No doubt that "Derek" is Jan's favorite track.

Can't offer an opinion on the "Derek" track as there's zero chance I would waste my time even attempting to listen to any music on this site.

Shocking that Jan takes another opportunity to attack/insult someone/something else.
